Heaven's Colors Synopsis Heaven's Colors tells a parallel story, one played out in Heaven and another here on Earth. In time, they become intertwined and dependant on each other as the fate of all humanity hangs in the balance! This is a sequel to Heaven Sent but it can stand perfectly on its own merits. The angels in heaven are in training - for some of the most difficult rescue assignments yet! Three teenage angels - Sallie, Jackie, and Bill - ride St. Peter's rainbow as it take them into terrifying situations. To make matters worse, dark forces are bent on sabotaging the missions! Down on Earth, a boy has come to a final decision about his future. In order to have one at all, he must make a 3000 mile journey across the Siberian wilderness he has called home, and escape to America across the Bering Sea! It is the 1950's and Russia and America are at the height of the Cold War - where suspicions and tensions run rampant. It is the story of Travis, a teenager bent on a better life for himself. But the journey he is undertaking might end his life before he gets there. The duals storylines crisscross time and again until ultimately the angels come to understand that saving Travis is their only way home - for all of them! Stranded on 'this side' of heaven, the three angels must use all their guile and know-how to help the boy make it across the cold mountain ranges, past the soviet troops looking for him, and through a walled city where capture means certain death! Along the way, Travis encounters several interesting and memorable friends, from the boat captain who takes him along up the river, and teaches him about friendship - and some unsavory things as well - to the merchant who gives the destitute boy a job when he needs shelter, and money for supplies. As the power struggle continues in Heaven, Sean and Elizabeth get help from a few unlikely sources, and try to lay a trap for the holy betrayers. But it will come down to a very real showdown high above the Bering Sea between the angels of God and followers of the dark lord, where the salvation of Travis will ultimately decide the fate of human kind!
